EMIL HAS SO MANY THINGS HE WANTS TO BRING UP TO VEN. He DOES want to talk about the kiss, but like. EVERY TIME they talk, something horrible is happening, so it just feels awkward bringing it back to something that was... relatively silly for everything else that happened with that plot. Like, "Um, hey, Ven..." And he figures that it would be kind of rude to bring it up because that's... really Ven's thing to decide if he wants to talk to him about.
Other than that, Emil just wants to cuddle Ven a lot and help him feel better, even though it's kind of obvious he's sort of falling apart himself. And when he next comes back, he's just going to... hide his head in shame. Because while he understands Ratatosk's reasoning (he won't deny that that sort of crossed his mind too), he knows that that isn't the way that Ven and Cassie want to play, and that they each have people not on Peridot they desperately want to protect.
